My Cool Christian Boyfriend

Here's why I love this episode so much:

1. The fact that Moby "opens" for the pastor and then how cool the pastor is and how good he is at getting people's attention and then presenting a truth (reminds me of Oasis, except I don't think Pastor Philip would ever ask us to say, "I hate God.")

2. When Mindy's down on herself about how she was only "doing good" to impress a pastor, and Danny goes, "Well, the church people only do good things to impress God, and he's a guy." AH! Truth, anyone? Seriously.

3. When Mindy's second prisoner just wanted to know what's going on with Real Housewives....... I'm like, are these writers Christians? Do they know how God works, because that is how he works for real.--> We finally give of ourselves to serve God in some way, and he ends up using exactly the quirky way he made us, to help someone, and we end up liking it. This was such a good reminder to me as I've been trying to find a place to serve at church, something that's semi-my interests but mostly that will fit into my crazy odd job and acting schedule. And I know God's like, "Tracy, put me first, and your gifts will be used, and your schedule will work out just as it should." But I'm like, "But God! I can't commit to every Sunday."

4. The Haiti reference. Just today, I had a friend text me to let me know she's going to Haiti in a week to do this mission work stuff, and I'm like, DUDE, this is so Christians today, always going to Haiti, and I really wonder if any of these writers are Christian or if they're friends with Christians, or maybe Haiti just really is the main place that needs help right now, and I should be going there too.

Are there any Christian TV writers? I'm going to Google that right now. Hang on.

Okay this is too difficult of a search, but I did come across a somewhat interesting article about Bible discussion on Glee.
